How often you really make the trip
As a rule it takes 8 to 12 sessions. That sounds like a lot of driving, but it is not: six to eight weeks pass between two appointments on the body, around four on the face. Spread over a good year, that is not even one appointment a month on average.
The reason for the intervals lies in the hair itself. The laser only reaches hairs in their active growth phase, and only about 20 to 30 per cent are in it at any one time. Anyone wanting a tighter schedule would be treating the same area while there is nothing there to hit.
