Accessibility

As of 22 September 2026

We want everyone to be able to use our website and online booking — whether they work with a mouse, keyboard, screen reader, magnification or voice control. This page describes what we do for that, where things still fall short, and who to contact.

What this statement covers

The website hellolaser.de and the online booking embedded in it: trial appointment, treatment appointments, voucher purchase, hair-free check and the customer account with appointments, packages and invoices. The treatment itself takes place at the studio in Oberkochen.

Legal framework

Since 28 June 2025 the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) requires services in electronic commerce to meet the requirements of the BFSG regulation, specified by the European standard EN 301 549 and thus the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. As a micro-enterprise with fewer than ten employees we are exempt from this obligation under Section 3(3) BFSG. We nevertheless follow exactly this standard voluntarily and provide the information under Annex 3 BFSG here.

How to use the booking

  • Without an account: Under “Book appointment” choose a path (trial, treatment or care), then day and time, then your contact details. Before completing you see price, appointment and the links to the terms and privacy policy.
  • With a keyboard: The Tab key moves through all controls, the arrow keys move within a selection. On every page the first element is the skip link “Skip to content”.
  • With a screen reader: Headings, form fields, error and status messages are announced. The calendar names date and availability for every day.
  • Payment: Online via Stripe or in cash at the studio. The Stripe page is accessible as well.
  • Without internet: You can also arrange any appointment by phone: 0176 20987018

What we have implemented

  • All functions can be operated with the keyboard; focus is always visible.
  • Contrast of text, borders and focus rings meets WCAG 1.4.3 and 1.4.11 in light and dark design.
  • Pages have a clear heading structure, landmarks and a skip link to the content.
  • Images have alternative text; icons are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Motion follows the system setting “Reduce motion”; video and image bands can be paused.
  • Pages can be enlarged to 200 percent and reflow at 320 pixels width without losing content.
  • There are no time limits, no auto-playing sounds and no flashing content.

Known limitations

  • The PDF documents (invoices, vouchers, consent forms) are not yet produced as tagged, accessible PDFs. On request we send the content as an accessible email.
  • The map on the contact page comes from Google Maps; the address and a textual route description are next to it.
  • The foreign-language versions of this website come from a dictionary, not from a translator; for prices, terms and privacy the German wording applies.
